Merge PDF

Combine several PDF files into one, in the order you choose. Files never leave your device.

PDFs are merged on your device — never uploaded

    How it works

    1. Choose or drop two or more PDF files. They are read into memory on your device.
    2. Use the arrows to set the order.
    3. Click Merge PDFs: the open-source pdf-lib library copies every page of each file, in order, into one new PDF, which downloads automatically.

Page content is preserved as-is. Interactive features such as form fields and bookmarks may not carry over. Password-protected files can’t be merged until the protection is removed by someone authorised to do so.

    Example

Combine a 2-page invoice and a 1-page proof of delivery into a single 3-page PDF to email to a client — without uploading either document to a third-party website. Need only some pages? Use Split PDF first.

    Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?

No. Merging is done in your browser using the open-source pdf-lib library. Your files are read from your device and the merged PDF is created on your device.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no fixed limit, but very large files use a lot of memory. On phones or older computers, merging hundreds of megabytes may be slow or fail — try fewer files at a time.

Why did a file fail to merge?

Password-protected or encrypted PDFs cannot be merged until the protection is removed by someone authorised to do so. Damaged files may also fail.

Are links and form fields kept?

Page content is copied as-is. Interactive features such as fillable form fields, bookmarks and some links may not carry over to the merged file.
