Not sure which tool you need?

Answer up to eight quick questions and we’ll list the tools in our database that match what you selected, and show exactly why. Skip any question you’re unsure about. No account needed, and your answers stay in your browser.

How matching works
  • What you’re trying to accomplish decides which tools are considered: only tools we list for that job.
  • Requirements: a free plan when you need one (or a free-only budget), your platform, and the integrations you need. A tool that we know doesn’t meet one is left out and shown under “Nearly matched” with the reason. “Essential” AI and “I’d rather avoid AI” are requirements too when we know the tool clearly fails them.
  • Preferences: who you are, “nice to have” answers and your skill level. A mismatch moves a tool down but doesn’t remove it.
  • Unknown facts never count as a match. They’re shown as “not yet verified” so you can check them yourself.
  • Order: fewest preference mismatches, then most confirmed matches, then fewest unknowns, then alphabetical. Popularity, affiliate links and sponsorship play no part.
  • Each reason says where the fact comes from. Verified means we checked it on the vendor’s own pages. Listed by vendor means it’s from public listings we haven’t checked yet. Our classification is our editorial judgement. We don’t yet have verified prices for most tools, so paid budgets aren’t used to filter.
  • This is a shortlist to research further, not a recommendation of the best tool. Read the profiles and compare before you decide.
